There are five (5) things you should know about curly hair.

1. Vigorously scrub your scalp with shampoo to clean an buildup of oil or any product you been using to hair. Gently massage the rest of the hair with the shampoo from root to ends. Ring hair out gently. Conditioner should be applied to ends first then to the mid-shaft and a small amount near, but not on the scalp.

2. Pay close attention to the weather. The more humid it is the more your hair will curl, especially around your temples and the base of your neck. It is recommended wearing your hair curly or wavy when humid. If you flat iron your hair you must use humidity resistant products or your hair will re-curl.

3. Mostly of us don't understand that a curls move in one direction and if your hair is cut one curl goes to right and the other goes to left according to each curl. For the stylist, it very important to them to know for styling purposes because one side will be easier to style than the other depending on what direction you want your ends to go.

4. When drying curly hair make sure product is in the ends of your hair so it does so it does not frizz. Use a diffuser that is a bowl shape and that also has the vertical plastic pieces protruding from the inside of the bowl. Make sure not to run your fingers thru your hair after every curly styles as this will give you an afro.

5. Curly hair loses more moisture than straight hair. If your hair is dry try a conditioning treatment in clean, dry, lightly misted hair, no more than twice a week. This will ensure better saturation without water dilution and will cause your hair to be less tangled, shinier, and wiill make you color stay longer. If you do not see steam coming from your hair while flat ironing then you do not have enough moisture in your hair.

One day, when I was a little sick reading my reviewer for the future examination, I needed to divert something creative to please myself or to at least relax my brain and I decided why not making hats using colors that I like. When I finished one..., I don't like to stop and in fact I model these hats online. LOL

An older lady asked me if I am selling them..., I replied to her: Yes, If I receive an order..., and then another friend told me she wants 10 pieces of them. I am surprised because bunches of people likes my creations. Amazing isn't it? I knew it! I also never thought I can earn money by my simple creations.

But as we always remember; when we are doing something good and it is from our heart, the people will notice them. Completed the first order and these are ready for shipping to Canada. A hard work is paid off!!! I am working on the second order to New York for now...I'm liking it!

I should say thank you to the internet world but once again there are too many people abuses the net and victimized their "CHATMATE". You need a clue? Okay, just keep reading and I'll reveal few stories here.

Story 1 - - There are so many people are on the net looking for someone to either find their soulmate or just victimize whom they are talking to. Be careful cause they are good conversationalist. An example: A.) Asking money for they are sick or family is sick, B.) Asking money for the education cause they want to study nursing,etc. It's not wrong to help but you must really know the person whom you are going to trust with. You must know the real name, the status if(single,married,separated,divorced/annulled,widow or widower),their complete address and the most important thing here, don't get fool those who pretended to be a woman and looks like woman.

Story 2 - - There are so many people uses names of their relatives and friends to claim money on their behalf so be aware on this one. If incase you are sending money to your chatmate be sure you are able trace those incase of trouble. Try bank transactions.

Story 3 - - Meeting your chatmate you must aware they are stranger eventhough you constantly talked online. Safeguard your passport,visa,money and credit cards. Also you must have contact number of your embassy incase the visit went wrong. Okay, now if they stole anything from you, you must report it to the local authority (Police or Sheriff) then call your embassy to help you with your situation.

I also suggest to have your information accessible online just incase you forgot important informations such as passport number, telephone numbers of your immediate family and other important documents. Be sure it is protected and not hackable.

Story 4 - - You must know a little story of the place you are going and as much as you must inform your family how's everything doing. The first reason of notifying your family is to let them know you are okay and safe. The second reason is when the time you are out of reached they can seek help to find you.

Story 5 - - Don't go to a place which considered terrorist area or danger zones. Let your chatmate meet you in a neighboring place. Always think of your safety first.

Story 6 - - If you are from foreign country you don't know the local language outside your country. It's not a problem just be observant you will know if something isn't right. Be smart; observe, observe and observe.

Story 7 - - In the first meeting find a way to exchange identifications to know this person is using real name or what.. Here are valid identification that is hard to falsify: "Passport & Government Ids".

The first time I arrived in United States, I wanted a dog and I am lucky to have one which come from someone who are special to me. The dog is Maltese Yorkie that is considered to be one of the expensive dog.

First Aid for Baby

Here are helpful tips for both Parents & Nannies :

A.) Bites from insects or animals
You should wash carefully with soap and water. Apply antiseptic and consult your doctor immediately for you never know rabies can be transmitted by many animals.

B.) Bruises
Cold compresses will tend to prevent swelling. Hot compresses will often diminish it as well as relieve pain. Both are helpful, however, cold compresses are superior.

C.) Minor Burns
An application os sterile ointment or a vaseline ir oil dressing will make the baby more comfortable so do it.

D.) Major Burns
You must call the doctor immediately.

E.) Convulsion
When baby has high fever. So you must call your doctor immediately and while waiting for the doctor turn your child on either side, to prevent swallowing of tongue until spell passes, then follow what the physician's have told you.

F.) Fractures
You must kept the baby as still as possible until the doctor can make a diagnosis of suspected fracture, which is often hard to recognize.

G.) Head Injuries
If child exhibits extreme drowiness, unconsciousness,vomiting or bleeding from ears, mouth,nose,or eyes, you must call the doctor immediately or go to the nearest hospital. Keep the child comfortable and as quiet as possible.

H.) Poisons
If suspected, call the doctor for immediate treatment. Induce vomiting by placing finger down throat and pull tongue forward.

I.) Suffocation
In small babies, frequently caused by congestion in the nose or throat. Make sure these are clean. After that, holding baby upside down by his ankles will help. Call doctor or fire department for immediate help.

J.) Swallowed Objects
If visible, remove with finger or attempt to induce vomiting but incase it is sharp such as open pin, Do not slap on back. Prompt medical attention is recommended so u must call the doctor or take baby to the hospital.

K.) Minor Wounds
Wash carefully with soap and water and apply mild antiseptic

L.) Major Wounds
A sterile dressing, so applied to inhibit bleeding until arrival of your physician.

14. A certified English translation for each foreign language document. The translator must certify that s/he is fluent in both languages, and that the translation in its entirely is complete and accurate.

Spousal Visa Application

Based on the applications we filed @ USCIS service center, both applications was approved only Form I-129F for K3 (immediate relative under non-immigrant category) arrived on the mail first so i scheduled my medical and interview then the next week my Form I-130 for CR1/IR1(immediate relative under immigrant category)arrived so i asked my husband if he wanted me to cancel K3 application and proceed to CR1/IR1 category,his answer was i wanted you here before my birthday which i understand.

To make the story short, A K3 visa holder i am allowed to stay in United States for 2 years but not allowed to work. So as K3 i need to file Employment Authorization Document ( EAD ) which i didn't file as i decided to wait and file for Adjustment of Status whom i can file EAD at the same time for free of charge lol.

Okay with CR1/IR1 when you arrived in United States you are a holder of "Conditional Green Card" for 2 years with EAD, so if you wanted to work you with this type of application. And when your CR1/IR1 is about to expiry you need to file removal of condition.

A Fiancee Visa( K1 )once approved by USCIS you should marry your partner within 90 days then file an Adjustment of Status( AOS ), to maintain his/her stay in United States.

How to start the application?
1. Meet your partner in person.
2. Gather various documents, eg : birth certificate(BC), certificate of no marriage(CENOMAR), Divorced Decree, Pictures of you together, Passports,etc. that certify how true is the relationship.

How to File?
1. Petitioner will send I-129F package to United States Service Center. See instructions @ USCIS.gov

2. Along with your I-129F, submit G-325a your biographic information.

3. Affivadit of Support is needs to be notarized I-134

Then you should wait to receive Noticed of Action1 and Noticed of Action2 about the status of your application.

Next steps :

1. Beneficiary schedule your interview @ US Embassy Manila, Philippines.
2. Payment of Visa at any bank designated bank.
3. Payment of DELBROS at any designated bank.
4. Schedule your Medical Exam ahead of time @ St Lukes, Manila.
5. Appear on your interview date and be there at least 2hrs in advance.

I had my skin test last week and i am worried if i have TB problem or if i am exposed to the people that has Tuberculosis because the area of my arm has red spot in it. But thanks be to God my tuberculin test( PPD) is negative and what happened to my arm is only a reactions for i had BCG injection when i was infant and also a history of skin allergy which resulted to arm redness. Plus all my vaccines are taken outside the country and not here in USA.

Purpose of(TB skin Test)Tuberculin Test?

Is to determine if the immune response to the bacterium that causes TB or you are currently has TB or exposed it in the past.

How it is read?

Reading the skin test - means detecting a raised, thickened local area of skin reaction, referred to as induration. Induration is the key item to detect, not redness or bruising. Skin tests should be read between 48 and 72 hours after the injection when the size of the induration is maximal. Tests read after 72 hours tend to underestimate the size of the induration.

How are skin test results interpreted?

Redness of your arm doesn't measured but the amount of induration (localized swelling). I mean the diameter of the induration should be measured transversely,for example: perpendicular to the long axis of the forearm and recorded in millimeters.

You Considered Positive:

1.If the area of induration is palpable, raised, hardened area ~ around the site of injection is the reaction to tuberculin.

2.If the induration greater than or equal to 15 mm.

3.If blisters are present (vesiculation).

4.If the patients who are immunocompromised, such as people with rheumatoid arthritis or Crohn's disease, 5 mm of induration.

5. And if a person with underlying kidney disease, diabetes, or a health-care worker or personal contact of someone with active TB, 10 mm of induration.

You Considered Negative :

If the induration of less than 2 mm, without blistering, is considered a negative skin test. Redness isn't the question it is the Bump of the area of your arm where the test is performed.

But be warn:

A negative test does not always mean that a person is free of for TB problem so protect yourself against it. And for the people who have been infected with TB may not have a positive skin test if their immune function is compromised by chronic medical conditions, cancer chemotherapy, or AIDS.

In addition, some of the people who are newly diagnosed tuberculosis of the lungs will also have a negative result, possibly due to poor immune function, poor nutrition, accompanying viral infection, or steroid therapy. And over 50% of patients with widespread, disseminated TB which spread throughout the body will also have a negative TB test. So i should say, prevention and complete awareness of TUBERCULOSIS is the key to protect yourself from TB.

I don't really expect, that i do really need to learn how to drive a vehicle because i'm truly scared to try but when my husband told me that its hard for me to find a job closer to our home. And those statements made me think over and over until one i asked my husband to teach me on how to drive and i am glad he is patient and explained me how to do it and which is next to do. And after that session i know i will learn faster than expected.

Tips :

1. You choose your coach ( partner,friends,family or driving school).
2. Learn which vehicle you are driving ( standard or automatic ).
3. Constant practise is a must.

House Renovation

Well, I finally decided that our 1980's spare room was due for an upgrade and a new look. After removing all junk in the room, it took some time for me decide what I was going to do with the room for a change and it going to be nice and different.

I am making some sort of a statement about what I have really wanted to do for a long time, it is a room that is going to be daring and i had some color in mind.

After all the furniture was removed, I got busy with some color on the walls and it was about to really stand out.

Orange was my choice and it is not the standard orange or pumpkin type of color, it is the Roman Orange that will really make this room come to life and this is one bold color that will go well with the curtains and other accessories.

I got down to business and primed the walls in preperation for the real color. The process went smoothly, but it did take some time since I had many other things to do.

After my Roman Orange was up on the walls, I had some time to reflect on my choice and I really think it looks good.

Next I had to choose some curtains as a contrast for my color choice. I picked a wonderful Lime color that was a good match for the orange. Hanging the curtains was easy since I had all of the hardware available and partially installed.

Once the curtains were back up I started to re-assemble my room and place my new bench style chair in the most appropriate spot, a place easily accessable to the bed, but well out of the way for ease of movement. The bed was put back together and my room is once again functional, but with a twist, it is one spectacular orange room that I just love sitting in and admiring.

We chose offwhite carpet and with regards to wall frames i have chosen something that has white background. So if you are planning for house renovations chose something different to be unique.

I got an iPod tonight

My husband was asking me to give him a hint or a gift ideas of what i want for christmas and i told him i want a gift from him is an iPod since lost my iPod at the port area long time ago.

He was asking me which iPod that i'd like to have and i said anything you can afford and guess what? He bought me iPod Nano and iPod Touch which is cool, and i said wow i am blessed and impressed with the Christmas present.

I am extremely happy tonight and thankful to have a generous husband who bought me iPod Nano which is nice, compact and holds all the songs i need and best part is that, it is nice, small and i can put it in my pocket at work and listen to music all day long plus i got iPod Touch which is a great addition with much better and bigger pictures. I can play any of my movies that i want, surf the net and communicate with all of my on line friends. I really love to have this two(2) great gadgets that is worthy of your pocket.

DRIVING in the influence of Alcohol may killed Innocent People

God is so Good..... have faith.
I thought we gonna die but God saved us from death. Yesterday my husband's wallet left in his work truck so he told me, we are going to get it and have dinner outside after shopping.

To make the story short he started to drive and in few minutes i heard boom! so i was asking him what's wrong with the mechanics? He didn't answer me but begin to louder his voice trying to open the window and look at the back of the car. So i followed him oh boy! windshield of the car was broken. So i immediately told him to behave and calm down as i dont like him to be mad since we dont bring medicine/pill for high blood pressure.

Blonde woman who is 29 years hit our car and good thing no major damages but bumper and windshield. The woman try to negotiate asking my husband about insurance and my husband said yes i have insurance and after she knew we have it she started saying i dont like cop involved in this, i have to shoulder all damages but there concern citizen dial 911 and in few minutes sherriff and state tropper arrived.

She said she was sorry and i told her its okay we have to be thankful to God we are alive and she added i am nervous, why not she drive under the influence of alcohol that damages her car and ours.

We never know she is drunk until the sherriff and state troffer told us so i said geee!!! no wonder she hit us.

The authority starts testing her but she failed. Officer read her offense and she started to cry because it was careless driving, dui and something damage personal property and her driver's license revoke then officer handcup her and bring her to jail.

Lesson : Don't drive under influence of alcohol you may kill yourself or somebody.

It is great to be with my hubby again after long waiting.., i am glad that he is happy like me that we finally live together now.

Visa - My journey to manila 4 ( med & interview )

i guess my readers are wondering where i am again lol!!! okay, i have to update you guyz i am in manila for my medical examinations and vaccinations per requirement of USEM ( US-Embassy here in Manila.) I am glad to those people who prayed for me to passed @ SLEC..., my family, friends in FS and VJs and also to my hubby who are not tired reminding me not to worry i will pass the exam since i am worry wart as he keep calling me lol

the funniest moments :

1. on the plane i am scared and my sister keep on laughing me when plane bump to cloudy area..... great experienced right? lol

2. on the second day i am not able to open my room and why? i inserted the card in wrong position hahahahahha shame on me

3. my cousins tease us to ride LRT and since my sister didn't see how we do it she was trap, we laughed and the guard on duty laughed too while assisting her.

4. meeting VJs as we decided to have grand eyeball i brought my cousin, friend and sister there...., i tease my cousin and sister that they have to pay what they eat hahahahha they got a pouting face lol

5. rest of the days we went to familiar the places we wanted to go but i choose going to church in Quiapo and in Baclaran.

6. On May 27th i wasn't able to sleep right as i am thinking of my interview to the consul @ USEM. I woke up @ 4:00am i am waiting for my cousin to arrived but nothing since it was raining bad... At 4:45am i decided to go alone despite of heavy rain cause i don't like to missed my interview. Im glad i arrived there safely. At 6:00am my appointment time so we fell in line and ready all docs that they needed. Im the 3rd person in line in my batch @ exactly 6:44am we are in. They start giving us number for fingerprinting, pre- screening and interview. God is good!!!my interview with kano consul lasted 3 minutes while others are 7 minutes and more. His last message congrats ur APPROVED!!! so i went home immediately and informed people and loverboy the good news......from the buttom of my heart thank u so much for the prayers, goodluck and to the lucky man i'll see u soon hee hee

If you’re planning to enter into a relationship with a Filipina, it’s important to gain an understanding of what “tampo” is. Let’s do this in a clinical fashion...

Definition: While the analogy isn’t perfect, you can think of tampo as “pouting” or “sulking”.

Cause: Typically, a Filipina will exhibit tampo when she feels she has been neglected or ignored, but she may also invoke it when she is jealous, or basically anytime her feelings are hurt.

Symptoms: The Filipina will seem withdrawn or sullen. She may be unusually silent, or she may express he dissatisfaction by “whining” in a melodramatic, almost child-like fashion. She may refuse to eat (only in the most severe cases!).

Duration and Severity of Condition: Tampo is a strictly short-term condition and should not be considered life threatening. Tampo is the result of mild dissatisfaction, not of actual anger. The behavior is a cultural norm in the Philippines and a westerner should not be overly concerned the first time he encounters it. Tampo is a very useful tool, because it allows a Filipina to show her displeasure about something you have done. Remember, confrontation is generally unacceptable in Filipino society, so disagreement or displeasure must be expressed indirectly.

Here is an example of tampo: You’re with your fiancée walking hand-in-hand down a crowded street. You notice a beautiful young woman walking toward you wearing a tank top that’s cut way too low, and you can’t tear your eyes away from her. Your fiancée notices this behavior.

A non-Filipina might react by saying, “Put your eyes back in your head! I can’t believe you were staring at that girl right in front of me! What has she got that I haven’t got!?” At which point she may stalk off, cry, or punch you.

A Filipina in that same situation, however, would probably squeeze your hand and say something like, “She’s pretty, di ba?” Then you’d stammer something about not noticing, blah, blah, blah, and you’d think you’d gotten away with it. Yet your fiancée would seem suddenly distant. She’d not proffer her hand to you as you walked together, she’s speak only when spoken to, and she’d probably shrug indifferently when you asked her a question. You’re on the receiving end of tampo.

It’s very important that you understand this: Tampo is merely intended to let you know that you’ve committed some minor offense, for which you must make amends. It is a mild behavioral reprimand that verges on role-playing. The worst thing you could do is to get stressed out over a tampo session, because an over-reaction on your part may escalate the situation to the point that your fiancée or wife becomes genuinely angry.

On the other hand, don’t misdiagnose genuine anger, sadness, or depression as mere tampo. If you’re girlfriend, fiancée or wife seems deeply depressed, that is NOT tampo. If she’s crying hysterically, that is NOT tampo. If she’s hurling dishes at you, that is NOT tampo. Tampo is mild and controlled and is the direct result of some perceived offense of a minor nature. It is short in duration. If an emotional abnormality seems unusually severe or extended in duration, and you cannot identify the cause, it is not tampo, and consequently deserves serious attention.

I would like to share some exciting journey of my visa application..., a friend from Montana adviced us to call NVC after 2 or 3 weeks. I remind my asawa to call NVC today so we will know what we are going to do next.

Luckily, i have MNL Case # so more days or months to count....,but at least they process my visa application for me to have an appointment for medical and interview in manila. Praying for my approval pretty soon i hope.

TSA responds to Nipple Ring Complaint

Just a story about myflowerdepot ~~ my partner wanted to surprised me with flowers on valentine's day but it was him who got surprised and felt frustrated and mad of what he had seen with the flowers i got.

He ordered 2 dozens of red roses with hugging teddy bears before cut-off dates. He was tracking where is the item it always said : on processing.

Several times he sent them an e-mails and he even try to send them offline messages for the site they have there but the yahoo messenger they have were invisible each time he visited there. So my partner contacted them using his phone but the number they have their just keep on ringing and no one answering his call in many attempts he tried.

Now, if u have to look at their site u can see all are the positive comments well, it is fine...., i know that is for the better service so they will get more profit in their business. What i am trying to say here is : we trusted their site knowing that they will satisfy us of what kind of service they can offer cause we are paying for it so if they cannot met their service due to some circumstances they better inform the person who ordered flowers from them with their reasons whats going on.

I had pictures of the flowers forwarded to my partner incase he is going to use that as a proof. I am using that flowers too to my friends online and they knew how bad it was.

Every guy I know (friends, family and past lovers) believes in denying it until the grave, unless you actually catch them red-handed. Some will, even then, attempt to deny it. I asked a guy friend why men deny it even when there's proof. His answer? Because they don't want to live with the thought that you have the "power" of a confession hanging over their heads. He said it puts the man in a diminished position and he'd rather deal with the consequences of lieing than give his mate the ability to remind him of his indiscretion. Sounds quirky right? The root of the holiday is showing how martyr is someone in the name of LOVE. It is not bad to love unless it won't ruin individuals life. Some people says LOVE is Happiness. But for me its a matter of many sacrifices to make it work.

- weng inspired me to do blogs. my vision is to help people each topic about Mabuhay Pinoy! another reason is to earn some dollars to help young kids go school in the future if this blogging stuff work LOL

- of course from here i met my hubby and i use to talk to him each day for longer hours sore to our ass but people inlove dont mind it hee hee we will be together soon.

- meeting friends online whom u can consider them as true friends that doesn't mind distances they are far from u.

- a place to learn by just your simple browsing.
