Breast Cancer Awareness

Some women are victims of breast cancer, some died while others survived.

Two step you can protect yourself :

1. Breast Self Exam - in which you are going to check your breast once a month, after menstruation or  when you are in shower.
2. Consult a doctor and have mammogram.

The common symptoms of breast cancer are:

1. A lump or thickening in or near the breast or in the underarm area
2. Nipple tenderness and the looks of the breast and nipples change.
3. Nipple turned inward into the breast and the size and shape change.
4. Nipple discharge fluid.

Early breast cancer is painless but if you have the symptoms above,I highly recommend you to see your health care provider to know if you have tumor in your cells.

Monitor your Pregnancy

And early sign of pregnancy can be detect by:

1. Tender, swollen breast or nipples.
2. Being Tired/Fatigue and you just wanted to take nap all day long.
3. Nausea or Vomiting.
4. Cravings where you pick what foods you like to it.
5. Headaches
6. Mood Swings
7. Frequent Urination
8. Dizziness
9. Morning sickness

So, if you have above signs and your monthly period is delayed, I suggest you to have a pregnancy test. And if you have seen 2 lines during pregnancy test, congrats you are pregnant.

Now either you are a new mother or having your 5th or 8th child, you should have appointments with your healthcare provider to monitor your pregnancy and to assure the position, size and heart rate of the baby.

It is also important that you have to get in touch with your OB-Gyn or any health care provider to assure the baby and the mother is in good condition.

My Dog, My Lifeguard

The first time I arrived in United States, I wanted a dog and I am lucky to have one which come from someone who are special to me. The dog is Maltese Yorkie that is considered to be one of the expensive dog.

I know we need to train her, though she is a smart little dog by nature. Treats... Treats.... Treats... for additional training she needs. But what makes me smile is she barks when someone came close to our house or if she heard something from outside she'll be checking it.

So, in return she will have moist and dry foods and some treats.
